Relying on the support from our shareholder China Railway Tielong in the resources of rail reefer container and other special containers, TMT starts to vigorously develop international railway cold chain transportation business. In August 2017 and September 2017, TMT successively launched the cross-border rail reefer block trains from Zibo/Nongzhong (Shandong) and Qiqihar(Heilongjiang). The agricultural and sideline products produced in China were transported to Almaty of Kazakhstan, which opened the new era of cold-chain cross-border railway transportation on China-Europe corridors.
Meanwhile, since November 2017, TMT has extensively cooperated with some major logistics platform companies on China-Europe block train corridors by providing the rail reefer container equipment and full-range technical support services for them. The mutual goals of both parties are to set up the strategic cooperative relationship centering on the development of cold chain transportation of the “Belt and Road" corridors, and actively create a more sophisticated and complete cold chain transportation platform, which will enable TMT to become the famous market brand in railway cross-border cold chain logistics.
